Add Your Products To The Site

We frequently get e-mailed questions about how a manufacture can add their product or products to the site, as well as the cost involved. Modified Guide is 100% free for Manufactures and Distributors. There is absolutely no cost to add your product to the site, we do this to encourage manufactures to add their products as it is our goal to build the most comprehensive auto parts resource on the internet.

To add your products is simple. Simply choose one of the two options below and follow the instructions. If you have any questions please feel free to give us a call or shoot us an e-mail. 

Option 1 (Fastest)

Simply download the Excel template by clicking the link below:

EXCEL PRODUCT IMPORT TEMPLATE (requires Microsoft Excel to use)

Then fill out the template per the directions on it. Please remember that the more descriptive your description is the better your products will look once imported on the site.

Option 2

For option 2 you simply e-mail us your catalog on Excel. In order for us to import it, it must contain the following:

1) Product ID / #
2) Start Year
3) End Year
4) Make
5) Model
6) Product Name
7) Product Description
8) MSRP
9) Photo (can be sent separately)

Once either option 1 or 2 is completed simply e-mail us the files at addproducts@modifiedguide.com or you can mail the files to us at:

Once we receive the catalogs, importing will start. If you choose option 1 the catalog will be on the site usually with in 2-3 working days. If you choose option 2, importing times vary based on how long it takes us to convert the Excel catalog to our proprietary format. This range has been any where from 2 days to 6 weeks in the past.
